ParaPro Assessment

If you are interested in becoming a classroom aide for Montgomery County Public Schools and do not have a minimum of 48 college credit hours, you must successfully pass the ParaPro Assessment.  The ParaPro Assessment is a general aptitude test that offers certification for paraprofessionals and ensures that classroom aides have met the higher standards of qualification required by the Every Child Succeeds Act.

There is a fee to take the ParaPro Assessment. This fee is paid by the potential candidate and is not reimbursed by MCPS. For additional information regarding the ParaPro Assessment, please click the link below.
