MEDICATION TRAINING

Please click on the following link to access MCPS Staff Medication Training. This training will include instructions, information and quizzes that you will need to successfully complete in order to become certified in medication administration in the school setting.

MEDICATION TRAINING

After you have passed the medication quiz(zes), you will need to schedule a skills check with your school nurse.

Once you have completed both of these components, you will be certified to administer medications in MCPS schools. In order to maintain your current certification, you will need to complete the hands-on skills check at the beginning of each year. You will not be required to re-take the on-line component unless you let your certification lapse by not completing the skills check each year.
